Hi Locutus,

Actually, the new 2008OS has improved the battery info to be more accurate.

So when you are surfing and listening to mp3s at the same time, it will reflect a much lower battery life left. (e.g. say 2 hours) as compared to it not doing anything just sitting there and you will get 5-6 hours of battery life.

Please can someone tell me, if the always online time increases by flashing the n800 to OS2008.
I mean the operating time with display off and wireless LAN active, so that I am available for skype-calls and chats.
The N810 is declared with “Always online time: up to 5 days”, and that of the N800 with 3-4 hours. And I read that it is a software issue.
