Hi Ajit,

Can you check what firmware is your N73ME running?

put in "#0000#" on the main screen to see what is the firmware version.

I have Motorola BT820 stereo headphone set that pairs well with my HTC Touch and also with my wife's Nokia 5700 ExpressMusic. The player controls on the headphones work well for both these phones (didn't expect them to control Windows Media Player 10 but was pleasantly surprised!). However, with my brother's Nokia N73 ME, the audio is only in mono. I tried all kinds of configuration options, but to no avail. Would it be a problem with A2DP? Thought ME came with A2DP. Could anyone help, please?

Hi Eddie,

Did you managed to put the S9 on pairing mode? I believe it's press and hold the on button until it flashes 3 times in blue and keep holding till it holds steady in blue.

Then do the pairing.

Let me know if you need more help.

I have N73 with the latest firmware 4.0726.2.0.1 and when I go to the Bluetooth menu it will not detect my S9 headset. Ive tried searching over and over and turning off Bluetooth then on again but it wont pickup the S9 at all. Any idea what the problem could be?

Hi George,

Yes, the current firmware that Nokia is updating (both the ME and non ME versions are out) enables A2dp. Make sure the firmware is version 4.0.2.xxxx

So you do not need to change the product code anymore.

Sorry, I'm a little confused. I have the original (non-ME) N73. Are you saying the new firmware for it enables A2DP? Or do I still need to go through the process of altering its product code?
