I have done a little reading on the device and Archos has built in some kind of encryption (though breakable) does not allow you to actually install third-party software without their approval.
Nokia is definitely doing the right thing adopting Linux and using Open Source (= FREE) software which allows the world community to contribute great softwares!
When I visited the USA, last Christmas, I wanted to buy something for myself as a treat.. something that I could get during my visit which was better value purchased there than from Singapore or something that I couldn’t get in Singapore.
I was looking at the original Nokia 770.. which had a few first generation model issues (slow…battery life… slow).
Cutting the long story short… I ended up with a N800 which was just launched within the last few days of my Los Angles trip.
So without further ado.. let me introduce the Nokia N800… it’s a great idea…
