This new Bluetooth stereo headset is a trusty friend for the music lover on the go. Offering excellent Hi-Fi audio quality, the headset is quick to charge and comfortable to wear with its over-the-ear cup headphones. Take control of your tunes with the three media keys for play/pause/stop, fast-forward and rewind, or manage your headset with dedicated controls for power and call functions.
The Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-604 is expected to be available globally and is compatible with devices supporting Bluetooth Specification V2.0. The estimated cost of the Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-604 is 120-140 euro, excluding taxes.
Expected street arrival is 3rd Quarter 2007 (knowing Nokia, usually its the final days of the 3rd Quarter!)
I have done a little reading on the device and Archos has built in some kind of encryption (though breakable) does not allow you to actually install third-party software without their approval.
Nokia is definitely doing the right thing adopting Linux and using Open Source (= FREE) software which allows the world community to contribute great softwares!
Canola - one of the best (if not the best) and easiest to use media player/browser on the n800/770 is about to go thru some major cool improvements! This program is a MUST-HAVE!
This program allows you to browse your photos/videos/music in a very nice graphical environment. It also allows you to access your UPNP media servers for full media content!
With iPhone-like keyboard, improved interface and major optimizations, I look forward to this new release!
Check out their official blog news on the new update!
When I first got my n800 from the US in January 2007, one of the main reasons I got it was because it was something I figured I can’t get in Singapore.
It’s first generation the 770 tablet was only available in US and UK. However, with Singapore’s move to have our own free WirelessSG at most populated parts of the country and its very tech savy population, I thought it was a matter of time it before arrives at our shores.
Then sometime in June 2007, Nokia Singapore got Hardwarezone.com.sg to gather some trial users for their n800 with mailers and banners on their website.
Archos – maker of some of the best portable multimedia players is stretching their market by including Wifi into their portable players.
The Archos 605wifi is first a multi-media player/recorder then an internet tablet. The wifi is there to play files direct from your media servers. It comes with 4gb built-in flash memory and you can choose from 30gb to a whopping 120gb! With that you can store and record tons of media – video/audio/pictures! Internet surfing is handled by the optional Opera browser.
The screen resolution is the same as the n800 – 800×480 and battery life seems better too. However, additional codecs and the Opera Brower are add-ons that cost up to US$20! each!!
It seriously looks like a worthy competitor to the Nokia n800 internet tablet.. if the price is right.
